Exposed aggregate grinding

Concrete paths and patio area have very exposed aggregate to the extent it's uncomfortable to walk on. Wanting to resurface (grind?) to semi-smooth surface. Approx 44.5m2, easy access. Two adjacent patio areas --- joined L-shape, two paths 9.5m2 + 8m2, joined L-shape - connected to the patio area. In other words the area is contiguous around 2.25 sides of a house.
