Install carpet trim in doorway between carpet and hardwood floor

We have recently pulled up the carpet in one of our bedrooms to expose hardwood floors. These have been sanded and polished. We now need to install trim in the doorway (between the carpet in the hallway and the hardwood in the bedroom). This is a small job but we don't want to do it ourselves as we have just had these floors finished professionally.

Small lounge carpet-laying job

We're getting a windowseat installed in our lounge and need to get some carpet rolled back and edged so the new under-window storage unit can be installed cleanly. This is a small job, but needs to be done accurately and tidily. The length of the new edging is about 2.5 metres. Ideally we'd like it done in the next 2-3 weeks.

Washington Ave Carpet Replacement

Uplift existing stained bedroom carpet and replace with almost new carpet supplied by me. No joining required. Have one large piece broadloom which will be way more than is required. The underlay is probably ok but I have that as well if required. Size is approx 2.7M wide and 5.5 metres long. Existing Smooth-track also ok. There is a wardrobe but existing carpet ok in that. Room is empty but new tenant keen to move in asap so some urgency.

Carpet Relaying

We have recently renovated our living space which involved moving the kitchen. We need to have the carpet that we have removed relayed where the kitchen used to be. it is in two spots. One is approximately 2.3 x 2 and will need joining on two edges. The other is approximately 2.3 x 1 plus wardrobe and will need joining on two edges. Cut and relay carpet in wardrobe area

After opening up an existing wardrobe area and boxing in a pipe running through the length of the wardrobe, the existing carpet was pulled up. It now needs cutting and securing around the boxed-in pipe. A small wall was also removed so some of the cut-off carpet needs to cover the bare floorboards. A small bit of underlay will need to be supplied and installed.

Cat scratch post re-carpeting

Newlands, Wellington

I would love to get the two carpet poles on this cat scratch post recovered in a good quality, sturdy carpet. The colour doesn’t have to be perfect but grey would be preferable. The tall pole is around 1m and the short pole around half that. I can drop it off to you in the greater Wellington region to save cost. It is $200 to buy a brand new one on special so I hope I can get this repaired for much less than that to make it worthwhile.
