The front door landing in our house has been getting damp, we can't figure out the source. There is no plumbing close to it, but the door isn't sealed very well and we suspect water has leaked in from there on rainy days. However today, we noticed the carpet and mat was wet but there has been no rain. I would like to get to the bottom of it and likely cut up the carpet and replace with something else. Vinyl or similar. Also to take a look at the door. The area isn't large, probably around 1m x 1m Thanks!
