Repairing Squeaky floor boards

We have a 4 storey town house (160m2). 3 flights of stairs and approx 120m2 of area that has carpet over weetbix board. In 'high walk' zones, including stairs (48 stairs total) the boards are squeaking and moving to varying degrees. We need them to be repaired (either new flooring put down or existing flooring screwed down etc). We will then be putting new carpet or other flooring over it.
