Small area carpet laying/repair

Fix Random Missing Strips in Carpet

Hi there, A quick job. I have spare carpet, but I need help fixing these holes in the carpet. The original carpet layer went around an old trestle table rather than asking us if we want to move it. Now we have a new desk and have these random holes. We are selling the house and need them fixed. I have the carpet spare but not the underlay.
