Carpet layer for small job

We need to pull up the carpet in our wardrobe, to allow a builder to fix the flooring underneath, then have the carpet put back down. There is wardrobe unit on top of the carpet near the area but we are happy to cut around this if necessary as we will be replacing the carpet in a year or two so it just needs to look tidy afterwards, not perfect. If you could come before this coming Wednesday afternoon as that is when the builder is coming, and then come back another day to secure it down again, that would be great.
