Repair wooden bench seat

We bought this bench seat (see photos) from an opshop. The wood under its left hand seat has broken and we're hoping it can be fixed for not too much cost. We'd like to see quotes before deciding to go ahead with fixing it - if it's too much we might just send it back to the opshop from whence it came.
