Rotten window frame

Part of the wooden frame of window has rotted resulting in water getting in when in rains. Wanting to ideally replace the rotten section of frame or at least seal the window. Doesn’t seem to have spread to rest of frame. Hoping to avoid replacing the entire window. I’m happy to do the painting myself
