Replace small amount of floorboards in older villa

We have a masonry villa (1907) with wooden floorboards under carpet. There is an area in our lounge that has springy floorboards, that need to be replaced. There is no access under the house where the damage is, and there is carpet that would need to be lifted to make the repair. No urgency on the repair, but would be good to have an idea of timing.
