Replace weather boards prior to painting
Job description
What we are looking for is a Carpenter / Builder to replace a few weather boards and get this part of the house ready for painting. You will see in the pictures that there are a few boards that will need replacing between the windows on the first and second floor (there is a bit of borer and they are not in good condition). There may be a board or two that needs to be replaced or secured on the part of the house shown in the other picture as well. The house was built in 1883 so the size of the weather board is not current standard so sourcing new weather board will need to be factored into this job. We have painters booked for October to paint a quarter of the house (as shown in the pictures) and they will put up scaffolding that you will be able to use to replace any weather boards as needed prior to them starting to paint. We already have a plumber lined up to replace the guttering. We will do another quarter of the house each year for the next three years, so there will be potential for ongoing work as well.
