A householder is seeking an indicative quotation for five relatively small maintenance jobs around the house. 1. Window flashing repair. The metal flashing above an exterior window has deteriorated and needs to be replaced in order to prevent water entering in extreme rain. See photo. 2. Wood trim casing replacement A. The wood trim casing above an interior bedroom window needs to be replaced, since the weight of the curtains has caused the wood to warp and pull away from the window. It may be necessary as well to install another baton or other fixture above the window so that a curtain rail can be fixed in a secure manner. See photo. 3. Wood trim casing replacement B. The wood trim casing below a deck door and window in a studyhas been affected by water damage, and needs to be replaced. See photo. 4. Replacement of Exterior Wooden board. An exterior wooden board on the house has begun to rot and needs to be replaced. See photo. 5. Securing of Exterior Wooden board. An exterior wooden board has worked loose and a gap has begun to appear on one corner of the house. The board needs to be securely fastened to the house so that water cannot enter. See photo.
