The wooden balustrade has been pushed and pulled about by a vine growing up and across it. The vine is probably 20 years old. The vine is being removed. That vine has also shaded the balustrade and decking immediately beneath and that has rotten. The job is to repair the balustrade and replace rotting deck beneath it and where-ever else rot appears on that deck.
