Weather board cladding needs water tightening

I have a watertightness issue which has resulted in one rotten stud that I know of. The external boards are weather boards. Where the boards join there has never been a flashing put over them. There is also potential that rain water is running from the aluminium framed Windows or there minimalistic framing. The windows are going to be replaced with UPVC, but I need to stop the leaking in conjunction with the installation, and also repair the internal damage done to 1 or more studs. I'm looking for an experienced builder or carpenter who has space to fit my hopefully small job in to their busy schedule.
