Outdoor hand rail

Urgently really need a hand rail set up next to 3 steps for entrance to the house for my elderly mother. (maybe two rails?) Recently she had a fall into the garden and struggle to get up without the rail. She's Ok but shaken, she's very able, alert and walks without assistance. Want it to be safe and solid with good grip to hold on. Would appreciate any advice on this.
