Recently discovered that our Hot Water Cylinder had come to the end of it's useful life and had sprung a leak. Discovered it by swollen flooring in our bedroom. Cylinder was replaced and all good - or so we thought. A few weeks after the installation we became aware of a musty smell in the house. Discovered that the was a joint in the pipe work that has not sealed as it should. More damage to the floor and carpet. The plumbing company will come to the party and their insurance will meet some of the cost. We need a quote for the repairs etc to the flooring and other associated carpentry works Photos to follow in the daylight!
