Refix shower rose.

The shower rose slider has been screwed straight into plaster board. I have attempted to fix with a nylon self screw plug but the screw the retail assistant sold me has got stuck in the plug. Have tried unscrewing the screw but the plug is just rotating so can't get screw out. Need the current screw and plug removed and shower rose reinstalled with some type of anchor in the plaster board
