Job description

New Cupboard Doors
Wellington

Published: 7 July 2009

**We're after someone with proven experience in building these types of units as we've been previously burned by a DIYer type whose level of finish was disappointing - this unit will be essentially in the centre of our house and needs to look like it 'belongs'** Bookcase dimensions: approx 2440h, 1950w, 300d. MDF – with cornice and kickplate.Cornice to tie in with style in room which is Gib Cove Treble. After a “chunky” look to the unit, and built to hold the weight of heavy books. Adjustable Shelving – 7 shelves per column. Pricing for bare unit installed, and also price for spray painted in a customer specified colour (satin finish). Installation notes: The house was built in the 1920s and is unlikely to have true walls. Unit will need to work around existing original skirting as we don't want to disturb this. The left hand side of the unit is into the corner of the room, the right hand side meets the door architrave (mostly – the unit is taller than the door and the cornicing will need to wrap around the right hand side of the unit). There is a powerpoint at the bottom left of the unit that we’d like to include in the design: approximately 580 mm from right hand edge, 400 mm off the ground.
