Fit two new French Doors

Job description

General Building
Wellington

Two existing windows are to be replaced with french doors. Building consent is approved, this is final part of a garage, deck and french door plan. The new timber french doors have been specified and are on order, expected to be delivered in a couple of weeks. The french doors have the same overall width as existing windows, and the top of the new french doors will be same as existing windows. (i.e. no structural changes) I would like a quote which includes the following - Remove the old windows - Cut down underneath the windows to make opening for the new french doors - Fit new flashings to suit building code - Fit new french doors, including scribing in surrounds to existing weatherboard. - Ensure work complies with building code and liase with council for inspections as required. What's excluded - Fitting locks, catches, etc - Replacement of interior skirting and architraves - Priming / Painting inside or outside. House is in Ngaio area, Wellington. Weatherboard construction. There is a deck already built in front of windows which provides a good platform to work on (no scaffolding / etc required). Any other questions please ask. Thanks

Fantastic result. Great workmanship, good communication and very reasonable prices. Stuck to budget and worked to my timeframes. Will be using Paul again for more work.
