Build a 2 bedroom and en-suite extension onto our house.
Job description
We have a 100m2 home that is 3 bedroom and 1 bathroom. We want to extend out the back by 2 bedrooms and 1 en-suite. Our plans have been drawn up and we are currently in the process of getting BC. We are looking for a builder to take on the build.

Be very aware, difficulties throughout. Poor communication & workmanship. The extension was set out from a fence, not the boundary resulting in incorrect position. Cladding originally installed to not line up with existing house. Gib hung poorly, cracking within months of completion. Shower liner lifted from wall in weeks, fittings not secured. Paint and concrete splashes left on windows & garage. They were deregistered by Master Builder's after an independent assessment of their work was done.

"Hi Deirdre, This really highlights the necessity of the client and builder working as a team. The final inspection was passed and signed off by Auckland Council. I'm still confused as to why I didn't receive a phone call to get the appropriate subcontractor to rectify these issues. I'm terribly sorry neither of us had the outcome we wanted. Please know we have put systems in place to ensure this does not happen again and I wish you all the best."
