Leaky deck / porch

Our back porch is built over the downstairs toilet/rumpus room. There is a small (1.5x1m) cantilevered deck extending from the porch. The floor of the porch (hardiepanel I think) is leaking into the house at the junction with the deck, and one of the beams extending from the house for the cantilevered deck is rotting. The leak has been temporarily sealed and hasn't extended very far, and the walls downstairs aren't affected, but it looks as if the floor will have to be removed, beam replaced, and made properly watertight. We hope you can help before winter sets in!
