Replace Carport Posts

Replace two metal posts, which have deteriorated, with new wooden posts (not supplied) to support carport. Details: Height is 2275mm approximately and Acrow prop (pictured) is supplied. Posts need to be fastened to wooden beam at the top and concrete at the bottom (this will require drilling). Preferred option is square posts to match the width of the top beam, rather than the existing round posts. Quote can be exclusive of the cost of material for posts as I'd like to discuss and decide this prior to confirming the work. Any recommendations on the best wood to use would be appreciated.
