Pergola Exrensions

The first job is a pergola extension. We want to bring the gable end out another 2.5m x 5m and cover the new extension with 50 x 20 mm rough sawn lap. We don't want to use the trellis as is currently on it as it doesn't last in this environment. We also want to add to the side as a flat roof structure a 2.5 m x 7.5m extension. The rafters are 200 x 50 mm and the posts are 200 mm rounds. The existing height to the top of the posts is 2.2 m. The other job is a pergola roof over the sandpit. The sandpit is 2 x 8 m approx. This can be tied back the building and is to be flat and covered in same lap as other job. Their is some repair needed to the sandpit to straighten the structure which will require some shifting of the sand within. Both of these are easily viewed at Port Ahuriri School.
