Renovate my bathroom

Bathroom Renovations 1970's concrete block unit in Richmond. I want to renovate the bathroom, nothing too flash just want to modernise it. Two of the external walls (concrete block) need to be lined, probably with bathroom gib, I would also like the toilet and vanity replaced. Currently the toilet is enclosed in the bathroom, I would like one small wall removed to make the bathroom openplan. I don't want to spend more than a couple of thousand doing the bathroom. I also need a price to install a small kitchen. It's a Bunnings kitchen, very small corner unit, one wall is concrete block. This is a rental property, the sooner it can be done the better but preferably before Christmas.

Was friendly to deal with, came around and looked at the job. Offered to send me a detailed quote, but I haven't heard from him since. I can only assume he didn't want the work. Lack of communication on his part.
