Removal of benchtop and new one installed

We are looking to replace our existing benchtop, sink and tapware. It is laminex or formica and we are replacing it with the same material We need the old benchtop and sink removed and the new benchtop added with new sink. The bench is an L Shape style and is lower part which we no longer want but we want the top part of bench to be wider, and we are not changing the style or kitchen We are currently trying to get quote on new benchtop and sink and tapware from placemakers. I am unsure if I need a builder/plumber or a handyman to do this work...
