kauri floor restore

A small job to supply and install a couple of kauri floor boards, at entrance way to our home (villa in kingsland). Having just lifted up the carpet with aim to restore the entrance way we have found a couple of boards have been replaced with pine. We're keen to restore these back to kauri (only about 3x 1.1m long floor boards, in an entrance way about 1.5 by 3.5m in area). We have some old salvaged kauri wall timber which may be suitable for the job...but not sure if thickness would be enough for flooring timber. If you can undertake this work this coming week that would be ideal. Thanks.
