Bathroom wall
Job description
The bathroom wall in the apartment has two dryer hinges bolted into it. Tenants have damaged the board under one of the hinges, most likely by not being able to lift the dryer properly, or by trying to unscrew it from the wall as it did not fit their dryer. I am hesitant to just mount the dryer onto the existing hinge as if the dryer falls, it will be my responsibility for the resulting mess. It is quite possible that the whole gib board needs to come out, and new board to be installed, stopped, painted to match existing colour with water resistant paint and new hinges securely installed, but I guess someone needs to see this first and provide a quote. I need this fixed (i.e. paint dry so that I can mount the dryer) by 26th of September. There is also potentially a crack in the ceiling that I may want you to look at, but you'll have to look at it first as few tradesmen tried and failed miserably, so I am sick of paying again and again for something that ends up being poorly done. I'd prefer if one tradesman can do the whole job.

John made the contact, I did not need to chase him. He turned up at the agreed time to quote, which I appreciated very much. He was able to estimate on the spot and the written quote that followed few hours later was very close to the estimated price. John and his crew also went extra mile when asked to work over the weekend, so job got done before new tenants took over. The standard of the finished job was outstanding, with colour perfectly matched and one can of paint left with the coding on it so I can get it mixed next time if required. Overall, I am very happy to recommend JDK Construction to other users of the web site. In my experience, JDK Construction is a cut above two of so called "PRO's" that expressed the interest in my job, where one of them made an appointment for the quote and did not even bother to turn up, and the other one never answered his land line and mobile.
