Remove an interior wall

We would like to remove an interior wall between the kitchen and lounge, down to a level that it can function as a breakfast bar. It might be a loading bearing wall - there appears to be a beam in the attic running parallel with the wall that holds the weight of the tiled roof. This would need confirming! The length of wall to be removed is 1.84m. In the photo, the wall is the one that has white tiles up some of it.
