Drawings of garage reclad

Job description

Draughting Services
Auckland

Published on 4 March 2014

I require drawings to be added as an amendment to my current building consent for recladding my garage. I am having my plaster house reclad and the garage is not part of the original consent. However the builders have put in new joinery and now the garage has been touched it has to be completed at the current building code. i believe i can have direct fixed cladding but i need the appropriate flashings and nib walls. These drawings can then be filed as an amendment to my consent.

Darren responded when the job was first posted. But during the 4 months he endeavoured to draw plans for the decks there were many times when my phone call, texts and emails went unanswered. I believe he was out of his depth and blamed the council, myself, the builders and even suggested the house could be built on Maori land as a reason his plans were rejected by the council 3 times. The last time there were 3 pages of RFIs. I also paid him a $1,000 for nothing and yet he still thinks I owe him money. Use this guy at your own peril.

Tradesperson reply
"The real truth is her job was a history of conflict. She threatened to sue the council . I have many successful built projects to my name. I can prove the facts are different. She accuse people before the normal process of consent is allowed to process. Yes the job was becoming complicated as she kept adding more work and I was expected to work for free by extending the scope of work...she expected me to include it all in my $1000 quoted fee. Not real at all."
