F1 fault and door issue

I have a F&P double drawer dishwasher Q series that doesn’t work at present. Is showing an F1 fault which I’ve tried to remedy with no luck. Also the lower drawer has issues opening and closing properly. Either a blockage and or problem with the door mechanism? I have opened it to clean the inside but very difficult to close. I have removed and cleaned both compartments of debris and turned off the washer. Turning on, the rotor starts and the F1 fault continues and water is pumped into the top drawer.
