Leaking fridge/freezer and leaking washing machine
Job description
Two jobs - both involving water leaks from F&P appliances. If possible I'd like them dealt with as a single job. 1) Our F&P french door fridge freezer (not the water dispensing model) is leaking water from beneath the freezer drawer, and from time to time a large sheet of ice forms behind the drawer. I assume the problem is that the auto defrost drain had blocked/frozen up but my attempt to remedy it - turning the fridge off for about four hours and pouring hot water onto the drain intake - made no difference. 2) The door seal on our F&P front loading washer/dryer has a chunk out of it, and the wire holding it in place has come off. We've replaced it, but I know it's not in the right position, and water is pouring onto the floor from the bottom of the door when use the washer. I assume the best option would be to replace the seal and probably the wire that holds it?

The washing machine repair turned out to be quite tricky because the supplier of the necessary spare parts didn't meet the promised timeframe for delivery and then went incommunicado for about a week. (Thumbs down F&P.) However Sb persisted, the parts did eventually turn up, and the work was carried out as soon as they were available. Sb communicated well right through the process, turned up when expected and did both jobs competently. Very pleased
