We have a 6+ year old dishwasher that has just started tripping the RCD. It seems to do this about 2 minutes into any of the cycles including the Rinse cycle. Water is being drained OK at the start of the cycle and also water is being filled after the drain cycle. Then 2 minutes in it trips the RCD. I have opened up the bottom panel and done an insulation resistance test on the major components but nothing seems to be leaking to Earth from what I can tell. The heating unit is showing 29 ohms resistance which sounds right for a 1800W/230VAC unit and none of the terminals leak to Earth. Given the timing, I guess the pump is starting to get water and perhaps it's leaking water with residual current? I've attached some photos which indicate water damage on the bottom of the pump and some rust. Hoping that someone has an idea if it's worth repairing and if so what cost we can expect for the repair job.

Sam was very professional and worked hard to find the issue with our dishwasher. Ultimately it was an old dishwasher not worth repairing but he did his bit to isolate potential issues.
