Repair old stereogram

I have a beautiful old stereogram with a record player and tuner in it. I want to get the components going and then hook it up to an amp I have. Basically when you turn it on nothing gets power. I have been told it might be the copper wire wrapped around thing. It is older, not sure if it has a fuse or not.
