Very Bad experience, we engaged Maverick Residential Builders Ltd for a kitchen splashback installation after connecting through Builderscrack. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing.

The splashback material that was recommended and installed proved unsuitable for normal kitchen use. After the first day of ordinary cooking, the surface behind the cooktop began to bulge and blister.

I raised the issue immediately with the contractor. The problem was acknowledged, and I was advised that it would be rectified by installing a glass splashback. However, despite multiple follow-ups and assurances, the agreed remedial work was never completed.

Nearly six months passed without a resolution. As a result, I was left with a failed installation and had to pursue the matter formally under the Consumer Guarantees Act.

Based on my experience, I was not satisfied with either the quality of the work or the after-sales support provided when the defect was reported.
