"Well we had a very bad experience with Hugo. There were communication problems right from the start.
He quoted to clean our roof and put on 2 coats of Dulux paint. He asked for more than 50% up front. I paid a bit less, $4000.
Scaffolding was erected. He then proceeded to damage our roof in 2 places by not walking on the nail lines. I saw him do it. He denied it.
I now find out he has not paid for the scaffolding. So the scaffolders are chasing me for that. Do not use Hugo Torres."

Tradesperson reply
"I’d like to clarify a few points. The quote was for clean (as you advised the roof had been washed 2 weeks earlier) and apply 2 coats of paint which is my standard practice. I requested 30% for our invoice and full payment for scaffolding, as scaffold needed to be paid. When you pointed out dents in roof, we inspected the roof together and found these dents in multiple areas, including places I had not worked on. You acknowledged this. Scaffolding company was paid and i have proof of payment."
