Repair to window frame

Our house is currently being painted and has scaffold around it - it is a two story 1910 villa. There is a small piece of rotten wood in the window frame of the upstairs windows. This needs to be fixed while the scaffold is up. The job is therefore urgent. The rotten wood has to be removed and new wood put in. it is at the base of the window so part of the house not part of the window itself.
