Project description

Two smart energy monitoring devices installed in existing home switch board.

Each device has capacity for 2 circuit CTs (Current Transformers), with up to 80A load monitoring capacity, as well as relay outputs for switching and load shedding.

The Shelly EM units, which are not much bigger than an Oreo cookie, connect to the existing home wifi, making the energy consumption, demand, and power quality data available on the customers PC, TV, and smartphone.

User-friendly GUI allows quick and easy automation and reporting as well as alarms.

The monitoring devices have built-in temperature monitoring, making them ideal to install in switch boards and distribution panels as they provide an additional layer of early detection of overheating caused by potential electrical faults.
