Project description

This client had a lovely veranda that ran along one side of their house and led out onto the backyard. The problem was it was too narrow for outdoor entertaining and the original decking was very weathered.
One of the concerns for the client was they wanted the deck space, but didn't want to lose too much of the backyard or original garden beds. So after a bit of discussing and brainstorming, we came up with a plan to extend out half of the veranda creating an L-shape deck space, giving the client an outdoor dining area while still maintaining enough grass area for the little ones to run around.
