Scope of Work
The complete dismantle of the existing redundant structure. We also fabricated and installed handrails to the old boiler room to prevent a fall risk.
Equipment Used: We used 2 of our Hiab trucks, A scissor lift and we used our generator to supply power as site was remote.
Challenges & Solutions:
Tough Access:
We had to improvise and forge our own access road to allow vehicle access to the back of the property. With the owners permission we removed some trees and vegetation and built small structures around irrigation and septic services to protect them from damage of being driven over. We also used the ‘diff locks’ on the trucks to help with traction offroad.
Fire Risk:
The work required a heap of cutting the old steel structure. It’s peak summer so the fire risk is high. We used all no spark generating tools to mitigate the fire risk. This method of cutting takes longer than using oxy acetylene gas axe but was imperative to avoid a fire.
Existing Structure in the building:
There was an existing small structure inside the perimeter of the building that the owner wanted to keep. The structure was too old and weak to move so it had to remain in place. We created a demolition plan to ensure the structure could be removed around the shed. We didn’t even put a scratch on the shed.

• Client Feedback: “Definitely the right choice for this large demolition job - a huge metal frame from an old commercial plastic house. Harry was a great communicator. I knew what to expect for every step of the project. He was 'spot on' with any potential health & safety issues. Nothing was too much trouble for this team of four hardworking guys. They were punctual, enthusiastic and 100% committed to getting the job done in a professional and timely manner. Very happy with the end result.”
