We were referred to Luke at Hive Plumbing & Gas following enquiries about revamping an existing underfloor heating system. The job involved removal of a diesel burner and various redundant elements of the old heating solution and providing a suitably sized heat source. Luke managed the complex project involving: selection of an air-to-water heatpump system, removal of the old system plumbing and associated fuel delivery, installation of the new system and all necessary controls, timers, thermostats, etc. During all phases of the project Luke clearly communicated what was to happen next, carried out the work diligently and without fuss (with electricians from Chaytor Electrical doing their part as well) and tested everything was as it should be. When there were options for how the system was to operate, he outlined the pros and cons and made the necessary modifications without impact to the overall timeline. We couldn't be more happy with the results - we finally have a quality heating system that is both efficient and easy to use! Luke has an obvious mix of great skills and experience, is an excellent communicator and stays committed to finishing the project within estimated timeframes. And he clears up as he completes his work! Everything you could ask for in a project such as this. I highly recommend Luke and Hive Plumbing if you are looking for installation of a heating system.
