Fencing & Gate Repair Tawa, Wellington

I really recommend Jordan and Rākau Construction Limited, for the job they completed on replacing fence posts on the cortens fence, fantastic communication and really quick to visit site and quote. Work was completed within days of the estimate being accepted. The site was left in an immaculate state. The final account was less than the estimate which was a very pleasant surprise. Thanks for the work guys, you will be my first call for any other work needing done

I had my bathroom/kitchen/laundry upgraded by Rakau construction and I highly recommend them to anyone. Very professional and excellent communication. They understood my budget and requirements and made it work, completed the project within expected timeframe. 5 stars all round

Wall and gable cladding - repair or replace

Jordan and Hamish did a great job fixing and replacing some rotting out areas of exterior cladding around our house and garage. They had a couple of days downtime and came round almost instantly to quote. Started the job two days later and were all done an dusted in another two days. On time and budget. Really happy with the work and fully recommend Rākau Construction for any building work

Deck replacement job

Decking & Pergolas Eastbourne, Hutt Valley

Rākau Construction completed a large (100m²) deck replacement for us. This included replacing decking boards, balustrades, and remediating issues with joists and posts. All on a challenging site. Jordan and Hamish were brilliant to deal with - good communicators, diligent, respectful, and highly-skilled. We'll use them again.

Flat deck replacement and waterproofing

Had a failing butynol deck needing replacement. The team from Rākau gave solid feedback prior to commencement so I (with no building experience whatsoever) was able to understand the process through to completion. Daily updates were appreciated and project was finished on time and came in under budget! Highly recommended company with pleasant and friendly staff.

Had the team from Rākau fix a failing butynol deck and balustrades. They worked with me to keep the costs down and provided regular updates which were appreciated. Satisfied with the finished product and price. Highly recommended.

Rākau was great from the get go. I changed my mind 47 times and my wife 48 times throughout our Reno but Jordan was patient and fair, working with us and explaining each step of the project. Would highly recommend and look forward to future projects. Thanks again Team!
