Matt has recently done a number of building jobs for us including fencing, balustrading, making and installing a barn door, and fixing a number of cavity sliders that were poorly installed by a previous builder. We utilised Matt Croxford Carpentry following recommendations from a friend. They had undergone a deck reconstruction and we saw that it was high quality work at a reasonable price. Matt was tasked to repair the damage to an existing deck, reconstruct additional supports and balustrades and enhance the safety and strength of an existing deck. we have been left with a new, modern deck that is secure and safe. Matt also identified previous work that had been incorrectly undertaken and suggested solutions. He resolved a complex structural problem involving missing joists and issues i wasn't even aware of which would have led to future issues. In summary, Matt is communicative, easy to deal with and he does a great job to a high standard. I would strongly recommend him as a carpenter. Highly Recommended 10/10! I has some internal stairs that needed replacing. Matt was fantastic from beginning to end. He did a proper assessment and provided a reasonable quote. The new stairs have been completed to an exceptionally high standard and it's clear Matt is an expert in what he does. Would 100% use again and highly recommended.
