We offer a $110 to $150 Call-Out fee depending on where you are located in Auckland, which includes the first 10 minutes of labour & a diagnoses. SB Appliance Servicing is the best service company I have ever used. I contacted them on Monday morning and they advised they would get back to me later in the day with an appointment time. They did exactly that and were at my house 45 minutes early. Found the problem, gave me a price (which was excellent) and had the job finished within about 20 minutes. Their service was very friendly and professional. My mum was at my house when they came and she has booked them for a job already. I called on Saturday regarding my broken washing machine. I received a text message letting me know that they could come on Tuesday. They actually rang to say they were in the area and could do the job today, Monday. The repair man was very polite and did an excellent job. The pump was replaced on the spot and a very good price. The communication was excellent. I would highly recommend this company for their prompt and efficient service. Cowboys who can only use screw driver for minor repairs. I called I gave them precise details of the problem. He said they could quote and repair. Sunny came to give me a quote within 1 minute by looking at the machine. He quoted 500-700 $. I said that to go ahead with the repair. He said he cannot repair as they don't have a workshop. That is a scam. On what basis can he quote and charge call out when they cant repair. I can also go around Auckland and give everyone a high quote and collect cash and not repair. Beware of cowboys. Just writing to the commerce commission to verify on what basis anyone can quote a job they cannot undertake. And charge a call out fee. Their major job seems stove repairs not washing machines. I could just call a handyman and get the same advice for half the price. If you pay a business to provide a service and it's sub-standard, you can ask them to fix the problem under the Consumer Guarantees Act. If they have not completed the work, they might be in breach of contract and you have rights under both the Consumer Guarantees Act and the Contract and Commercial Law Act. They are registered on many sites under different alias names eg ; Appliance Guys so BEWARE. The meaningless apology means nothing to me. Even that is so full of lies about "service dept" when it operates very small scale. Refund your call out fee, if you are sorry.
