leaking fix, probably from chimney
Job description
My house's got leaking at bottom of chimmey/fireplace. I have been seeing this issue when rain is very heavy for a few days. I had someone tried to fix it a few years ago by sealing some gaps/cracks on chimney, but it still doesn't work very well. It might need better job like replaster the chimney and flashing or something else. please see some images, and let me know what you could do.

"This was a low budget small job to remedy water ingress. We carried out the smallest of options which was removing the chimney to below roof level. We quoted the job and started within 2 days of acceptance which completed 90% of the work. We had external delay awaiting roofing iron. (delay due to material shortages, high demand and external fabricators timeline) the job was the best it could be to budget allowed by client. watertight and secure for project duration."
