Refurbished Deck needing Flashing replaced
Job description
I am in the process of getting deck railings and boards totally replaced on my balcony deck around part of my house. Builder has discovered that the flashing needs replacing. I would like prices please for replacing existing flashing like for like, OR installing saddle flashings around the joists, some weatherboards to be removed. The builder has left the 2 rows of boards against house weatherboard lose, so there is access. This is a renovation only and I would be satisfied with a good job from a competent DIY/Builder who has done this work before. I don 't expect a new build warranty. This is not "leaky house syndrome". There is a ranch slider but there is clearance there to work. I would preferably not want the ranch slider to come out. No reflection on builder and admits I may find a more competitive option through Builderscrack with renovator person. I really don't know the cost and have only ball park figure from the builder, who said there are people that specialise in this work. I'm trying to find that person.

Unfortunately he lost his lead installer after he quoted and didn't have anyone to do the job. In the end he did it himself. Apologies for the delay in giving this feedback. I didn't realise it was there until I listed another job
