Shower wall re-seal or replace

I have recently moved into my new house (1990s build). I have a shower with three walls of acrylic and a curtain on the front. The silicon seal has gone. I have done a temporary fix of insulation tape. Two options, I need someone to re-seal this. I will replace the walls if it is felt this will get the best result. Would also consider tiling.
