Supply and fit balcony flashing

We have a balcony that runs off directly onto the exterior wall of our downstairs flat. Wall has now leaked internally. Wondering if fitting some sort of flashing or guttering might help the situation. Not looking to fix the wall yet, but hoping to postpone the inevitable repair. Thanks.
