Repair the damage caused by slow leak behind shower/hot water cupboard

Mixer behind shower slow leak. Extensive damage to gib in bathroom and hotwater cupboard. Leak repaired, no problem now, we need a tradesman to possibly remove shower restore waterproof gib etc. and fix adjacent door framing that has been water damaged. Have been told it is repair job $2,000 - $8,000 depending on what is found behind shower etc. Hot water Cupboard/bathroom is well dried out ready for repair. May be an insurance job. Will be a job to get your teeth into and baking provided!!
