Job description

Exterior Waterproofing
Waiheke Island

I'm looking for a quote to investigate and resolve water seeping through an existing concrete block wall. Our two storey property is built on a sloping section and was originally built in the late 70s. The bottom storey was built into the bank and approximately 3/4 of the wall is concrete blocks against the bank. From what I can tell there are two layers of block wall - one acting as the retaining wall and the other as the internal wall. In a recent very heavy rain large puddles of water formed at the base of the block wall inside. We only purchased the property late last year as a rental. However our tenant has lived there for around 10 years. She says this issue occurs maybe once or twice year, but is getting a little more frequent. We have had some work done on the driveway to divert water that was running into the side of the house, hopefully reducing the volumes to cope with. There is also some drainage along the outside of the wall. We are not sure if this is a factor We are looking for an expert who can assess how the water is getting through the wall and provide a quote for a solution.
