Waterproof above sliding door

We installed a new sliding door a couple of years ago. When we have heavy rain we sometime get leaks at the top of the door. There was no flashing installed above the door so potentially that is the issue. The door installers tried waterproof filler but that didn’t work. We are looking at putting our house on the market in the next 3 weeks so would be great to get a job done asap.
