Damp work need help!

We have two areas which are damp and leaking that need investigating and fixing. One area is wet under the carpet in the corner of the room (in the wardrobe). ? Leaking from the outside wall or downpipe. The second area that is damp is in the ensuite next to the shower which my be leaking somewhere - we are keen to redo this bathroom suite/tiling.
